The Faders, Tess Vockler, Mell Hall for Saké

Japanese inspired club and sit-down restaurant, Saké on Flinders Lane, is Melbourne’s newest and hottest venue.

Saké’s opening weekend featured an all-female lineup including some of Soapbox’s very own kick-ass women: The Faders and Tess Vockler. Acts on the resident’s roster are local Melbourne legends and lists names like Mell Hall, Andy Murphy, Lauren Mac, Duchess Kay, and Lucille Croft.

The place is massive at two stories tall. Upstairs you can taste modern Japanese dishes, like an unique Yakitori dish that can only be found at the restaurant. Downstairs is the bar and club, complete with a dance floor and a lengthy signature cocktail menu.
