Following up after his recent show in Seoul, we had a quick catch up with Komes to hear how his show went and what’s up next for him
What’s the crowd like to party with in Seoul?
The crowd was really fun, they loved the bangers! Also, it’s always weird being in a club where everybody can still smoke cigarettes inside.. I think I got burnt on the arm a few times haha.
What is your favourite track to play out at the moment?
It’s always hard to pick one! But I have found myself playing Jay Karama’s ‘Keep Calm’ a lot lately. It’s a bit of a weapon!
Did you get any time to do any sightseeing?
I was only there for less than 24 hours but I made time to go find a yoga studio. It was good to stretch after 16 hours of travelling.
What’s up next for you?
I’ve got a heap of Australia & NZ shows coming up. Over the next few weekend’s I’m in Auckland, Wollongong, Canberra & Adelaide. The recording studio that I have been building in a shipping container is getting very close to completion too, the floor was just laid today actually. I have a new collab that I have been working on for over 6 months with Armand Van Helden which is set to be released in about a months time, really excited to show everybody that. It is my baby!
