Latifa Tee is a Sydney-based selecta, recording artist and radio host on FBi Radio, hosting Weekend Lunch every Sunday from 12pm-2pm. Whether she’s serving up rap bangers in clubs across the country, writing catchy R&B melodies, or bringing the hottest local music to your airwaves, Latifa Tee is a multi-talented musician and on-air personality taking the scene by storm.

Having released her debut album titled When A Girl Loves in Japan at just 17 years old, Latifa has had multiple songs reach #1 on the R&B charts. Her debut single, Games, has clocked over 800,000 streams on Spotify without being playlisted, and has millions of streams across various YouTube mixes featuring her song. Latifa’s music has also been played on commercial radio stations such as KIIS-FM and Power 106 in Los Angeles, as well as locally on KIIS FM, 2Day FM and The Fox. Having years of recording, writing and performing experience under her belt, Latifa is excited to make a return to music which represents her evolving taste and growth. Her latest release, Cupid, and the follow up (Midnight Edit) are the latest additions to her discography, and represent a new sound and direction for the independent artist.

Over the past year and half, Latifa Tee has also firmly earned her place in the Sydney DJ scene. She has DJ’d almost every club in Sydney, including the likes of ivy, Marquee, Establishment, Cliff Dive and The Carter – you name a venue, she’s played there. Latifa has been booked for events attracting thousands of festival-goers, including Spilt Milk, Beyond The Valley Festival, Oktoberfest in the Domain and the Sydney Rugby 7s Festival. Her skills have also been called upon to DJ alongside the likes of EARTHGANG, A$AP Ferg, Jaden Smith, Ying Yang twins, Savage, Chillinit and Kwame. She has also curated guest mixes on

Triple J programs The Kick On and Mix Up, FBi Radio programs Switch and Midday Mix, and has also provided mixes for Source Radio (France) and Saturday Selects (Malaysia).

In addition to her DJing, Latifa is a proud sneakerhead. Collaborating with JD Sports for their initiative JD Women’s Month, Latifa proudly represented women in the streetwear scene and was the face of four product launches for Nike, Puma, Adidas and Asics. She recently worked with JD Sports on the launch of JD Radio, and was the first DJ recruited to record an hour long guest mix for JD’s IGTV.

Not to mention, Latifa has done all of this whilst finishing the final years of her law degree at the University of Sydney, and juggling various other commitments, such as her role as an ambassador of the Australian Children’s Music Foundation. Suffice to say, Latifa Tee truly shows no signs of slowing down. Get familiar with Latifa Tee by following her on social media
